Hello lovelies,
I know it’s last minute but if you happen to find yourself anywhere near Tompkins Square Park this evening, make sure you check out the HOWL Festival’s opening ceremony, where 20+ NYC poets will be reciting the entirety of Allen Ginsberg’s famous poem, “Howl.” Bob Holman, the master of ceremonies will be joined by The Poetry Society of New York’s own directors, Stephanie Berger and Nicholas Adamski. The ceremony runs from 4:30-7pm.
If you can’t make it this evening, make sure to stop by the park on Sunday between 1pm and 4pm for The Poetry Society of New York’s reading on the Whitman Speaker Box! You can find the schedule of readers and RSVP on the Facebook event! Bring a blanket and picnic and join us! HOWL promises to be a delight.
